Bridal Alterations

Every bride wants the perfect wedding day and most of all the perfect wedding dress. Having the right dress is all about having it fit you perfectly. There are generally, two main categories of bridal alternations, brides with a new dress that aren’t the perfect fit and brides who want to redesign or update an existing gown. I take pride in creating the perfect fit for you, so that on your wedding day you feel confident and absolutely fabulous.

Alterations Process…

Once you’ve found the perfect dress, it is likely that you will need some alterations. Basic alterations include taking in or letting out a gown by altering the bust, waist or shoulder measurements, hemming and fixing the bustle. If there is other changes or updates, I will work with you so that the goown is your idea of the ideal wedding dress.

I recommend booking as soon as you have found the dress and depending on the amount of alterations would expect at least two to three fittings. The first fitting should be approximately 2 months before the wedding, however if its closer, give me a call and we can work together to fit you into your perfect dress.

For your first fitting, you will need to bring the shoes and any other undergarments you plan to wear with the dress.
